Morris's abused teenage sister who works at the local tavern and desperately seeks Danny's affection.

Character summary

Book 1
Sanctuary: The Governor's Daughter

Amarelle is Morris's teenage sister and a friend of Ella who works at the local village tavern.

She endures constant verbal and physical abuse from her arrogant brother.

Desperate for affection and attention, she makes a bold, inappropriate sexual advance toward Danny in a dark storage hut.

Danny respectfully rejects her but notices the dark bruises on her arms, offering her his protection and urging her to seek help.

When Danny later beats Morris to a bloody pulp at the tavern, Amarelle watches from the shadows and gives Danny a silent, satisfied nod of gratitude.
