Morris is an arrogant young man in the village of Cora and the nephew of Chief Macka.
He verbally abuses his teenage sister Amarelle and acts aggressively entitled toward women.
When Hannah rejects his inappropriate advances at the local tavern, he insults her and demands she pay for her food, prompting Danny to intervene and brutally beat him in front of the patrons.
Months later, after having a daughter of his own, Morris experiences a profound change of heart and sincerely apologizes to Hannah and Danny for his past misogyny and disrespect.
